WHO WE ARE
It all started in the Fall of 2006. Two young women, fresh out of high school and ready to embark on the next chapter in their lives, were placed together by the room selection gods or as some would say, fate.
Four years later, post various roommate changes, adventures abroad, and countless internships between the two (Rubenstein Communications, CMJ, IFC, and Converse to name a few), Stephanie Leke and Rebecca Carlson have rekindled their relationship as collaborators by creating Young and Hyp (pronounced hip), the brainchild of two like-minded individuals with a love for writing, the arts, and all things related to culture.
Stephanie is currently a freelance publicist at The Musmanno Group. She is also a member of the NY based choral ensemble, Khorikos.
Rebecca is currently a Social Marketing Coordinator at 360i and one of the founders of NY Creative Interns, a site dedicated to all things internship related from advice to meet-ups with industry professionals.
